We took a few family pictures with our camera out in front of our house, When we were ready to upload them, we realized that Sheldon's eyes were closed in every one of them, just like the last time we sent out Christmas cards. If you didn't get a Christmas card, don't feel bad. We only sent out 20, so family that live far away, grandparents and a few friends from the mission were all that got them. We Hope you all had a very merry Christmas, though. Ours was nice with My parents. We were the only ones staying at their home, and got to spend time with Corey and Amelia's families. Devon and Jaimie were in town, too, and stayed at Jaime's parent's house ( I just spell Jaymies name however I feel like) It snowed a ton everyday, and with the tires on our car( I got the best deal on new tires when Luke was born....best deal= not good in the snow, apparently) we felt like we were snowed in at the cabin, playing games and eating LOTS of delicious food all week, it was a lot of fun. It started off with us spinning off the freeway and landing deep in a snowbank facing traffic, meeting two very nice folks from Denver who took us into their vehicle until we could get pulled out, driving away while others were not so lucky, then spending the week in a winter wonderland, a little sledding in Adrian, Last minute shopping for santa with Amelia, Ari and Tristan, playing lightning ball with Courtney and Jerry ( Marshal's favorite people these days) and the highlight, going to the temple to seal Grandma and Grandpa McDonald for time and all eternity, and then for my Dad to be sealed to his parents. As a mother, I could really feel the joy of his mother finally being sealed to her sweet boy. After the temple, we went to the Grove Hotel to say our goodbyes to Amelia ( where she was working) and had some really good snacks. We also ran into one of my old elementary school friends, Julie Bowman, and her family. It was a nice trip!

Your little family is very cute. And you weren't kidding about his hair growing straight up. Sounds like you had a merry and adventurous Christmas.
